Symantec's report, now in its 17th volume, says that religious websites have 115 threats on average, mostly in the vein of fake antivirus software. Pornographic websites, in comparison, have less than a quarter of that number, averaging about 25 threats per website. However, there are obviously many more pornographic websites on the Internet than there are religious websites.
More and more people are choosing to watch features films via an Internet-based service versus buying them on physical DVD or Blu-Ray disks. The Los Angeles Times reports that according to a new study from IHS Screen Digest, 3.4 billion movies will be watched by consumers in 2012 on streaming Internet video services such as Netflix and via downloads on iTunes and other online stores.
By contrast, the report states that in 2012, just 1 billion movies will be bought on DVD and Blu-Ray disks combined. However, the study predicts that revenues from DVD and Blu-Ray movies will total $11.1 billion in 2012, compared to just $1.72 billion for Internet-based purchases of feature films.

China's Internet population passed the half billion mark at the end of 2011 after the country added 28 million new users during the second half of the year.
At the end of December, the country had 513 million Internet users, according to a report issued Monday by the China Internet Network Information Center (CNNIC), a non-profit group with ties to the government. This puts the country's total Internet penetration at 38.3 percent, up 4 percent from a year ago. In contrast, the U.S. has a total Internet penetration of 78.2 percent, according to Internet World Stats.

Windows 8 will come with Internet Explorer 10, the next version of Microsoft's web browser. In 2000, Microsoft launched Windows XP, the latest version of its Windows operating system. NCRC during its meeting examined the possibility of introduction in Ukraine of UWB communications technology (Ultra-Wide Band) in the frequency of bands 3,1-4,8 GHz, 6-9 GHz and 57-66 GHz. It was decided to invite the Administration of Government Special Connection and information include a new technology into a plan of RF use as perspective.
It is assumed that new technology can be used over time under unresolving basis, if thorough research will be carried out, which would define the conditions of the sharing of HRD in Ukraine by different radio technology.
